Wishing everyone a Happy Holiday

Well as the year winds down I want to take a moment to thank everyone for your amazing support this past year, I am so very grateful for your friendship and wish you all the Merriest of Holidays.

2014 has been so very exciting, I have met so many wonderful new friends and had so many fabulous experiences. Thank you everyone for making this a great year.

The year started in Europe with Human Rights - Migrantes, curated by Roberto Ronca in Rovereto, Italy and in winning "The Visual Art's Golden Eagle Trophy Award" as well, an "Award of Honour" in the Group Exhibition: Int. Exhibition of the Art of Peace and Visual Contemporary, Salerno, Italy. 2014 | HUMAN RIGHTS?'#MEMENTO – FROM WAR TO PEACE, in Roverto Italy was an amazing experience as always and I was so grateful in being included in the TOP TEN, 2014  ArtROM - WOMEN IN THE ARTS Edition 4 (Italy).

In Canada, the year started with a solo exhibition Reconstruction Reality at the Georgina Art Gallery and Centre, in Georgina. Winning The Curry's Art Award (Honourable Mention) at ‘Drawing 2014’ John B. Aird Gallery, Toronto: Jurors: Ed Pien and curator, Dale Barrett was a huge highlight.  Following that,  an exhibition with my good friend Mary Cellucci, Drawing and Painting! Questioning the Traditional at the Double Doors Studio and Gallery, Anten Mills curated by Billi Dawn. Zoomed down to Toronto to be included in an Abstract Group Exhibition at the amazing space of Art World Fine Art to show with the amazing artist Katja Van Eden, in Toronto curated by Donna Child. Another  highlight was exhibiting at The Front Room Gallery, in Barrie, Ontario - Solo show, The Creation of Visual Syntax, curated by Sarah Elizebeth Leonard - Here is a link to video of the exhibition. if you want a peek. New sculptural work where introduced alongside a 72" x 15' painted piece, Sarah curated the work so it filled the space with an amazing presence, it was outstanding, many, many thanks to the Team at TFR. Exhibiting at The Bartlett Gallery in Alton Mills always touches my heart, the space is one that we only dream after and Teresa Brownell and Lynda Clare are two of my most favourite people...Evolution was a three person exhibition. Next up was an exhibition with friends in the quaint Village of Cookstown at my good friend Ruth Draper's Gallery. There were so many more... Participated to bring awareness during World AIDs Day, an exhibition at the Front Room Gallery called Getting to Zero, organized by Aylan Couchie and curated by Sarah Elizebeth Leonard, was a wonderful success, as well, my most loved MacLaren Art Off the Hook Auction...which I couldn't get to because of freezing rain. New friends where made through participating in stimulus response, Gallery De Goede, Toronto.

I am honoured and appreciative of all the opportunities this last year, it truly was an amazing year. Check out the full list on my CV.

Looking forward, I am so exciting to share I will be exhibiting at the Aurora Cultural Centre  February to April, so if I don't catch up with you before then, I would be great to see you then.

Wishing you all a safe and happy Holiday Season.
Seasons Greetings.

Kindest Regards,
Jeanette
